Wesley Carter Welker is the wide receivers coach for the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League. He is an American football coach and former wide receiver. He previously worked as an assistant coach for the Houston Texans and the San Francisco 49ers. He was born on May 1, 1981.

Welker had a tremendous career as a wide receiver despite being undrafted. Welker holds the Dolphins’ all-time statistics for total kick returns, kickoff return yardage, and total punt returns.

Only one player in NFL history, Gale Sayers, had more all-purpose yards in his first three NFL seasons than Welker did with the Dolphins.
