Who Are Atlanta Falcons Coaching Staff?
The Atlanta Falcons are a professiona American Football Team based in Atlanta in the United State of Georgia. The team was founded in 1966 and they compete in the National Football League (NFL) as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference (NFC) South division.

1. Arthur Smith – Head Coach
Atlanta Falcons named Arthur Smith as its Head Coach on January 15, 2021 after serving as the Tennessee Titans offensive coordinator for the last two seasons (2019-2020). On September 12, 2021, 39-year-old Smith lost in his head coaching debut against the Philadelphia Eagles by a score of 6–32. On September 26, 2021, Smith accepted his first profession win as a lead trainer in the 17–14 success against the New York Giants. Smith and his wife, Allison, reside in Atlanta, Georgia, with their three children, Tanner, Sophie, and William.
2. Dean Pees – Defensive Coordinator
Dean Pees is considered as one of the greatest eight defensive coordinators in NFL history to coach in a Super Bowl with two different teams, doing so with New England in 2007 and Baltimore in 2012.
Born September 4, 1949, Pees joined Atlanta Falcons on January 21, 2021. He is in his first season as defensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons and his 48th season of coaching overall. He is additionally one of three people who has been the coordinator for three different teams in NFC/AFC Championship games in NFL history.
Dean Pees is married with six children: Laura (son-in-law Austin), Meredith (son-in-law Scott), Steffani, Matt (daughter-in-law Emily), Elli (son-in-law Chad) and Tarrin (son-in-law Cress). They have 12 grandchildren: Kade, Cole, Parker, twins Samantha and Brody, Julian, Ellis, Wyatt Dean, Sierra, Sydney, Tucker and Adeline.
3. Dave Ragone – Offensive Coordinator
Dave Ragone is a 42-year-old American Football Coach and a former player with the Atlanta Falcons as the offensive coordinator. He joined the Falcons on January 21, 2021 after five seasons with the Chicago Bears. He has been with top football such as Hartford Colonials, Tennessee Titans, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears and currently with Atlanta Falcons. He and his wife, Marju, have three children, Isabella, Anderson and Cristiano.
4. Marquice Williams – Special Teams Coordinator
Marquice Williams is an American Football coach who began his coaching career in 2010 as the linebackers/assistant special teams coach at Winona State University before moving on to assistant coaching positions with Central Oklahoma (2011) and South Dakota (2012-15). He joined the Atlanata Falcons on January 21, 2021. Prior to joining his current team, served as an assistant coach for the Detroit Lions, Houston Texans and Chicago Bears. Williams is married to his wife, Elizabeth, and they have four children together.
5. Steve Hoffman – Senior Assistant
Steve Hoffman is an American football coachis an American football coach who took a year off from coaching in 2005, during which he acted as a consultant for several NFL teams and ran his own business. In 2006, Hoffman was named as the senior Assistant for Special Teams for the Atlanta Falcons on January 23, 2021 under Arthur Smith.
6. Matt Pees – Defensive Assistant
Matt Pees is a graduate from Metro State University of Denver with a degree in history and political science and earned a master’s degree in education from Regis University in Denver. Pees, a native of Bowling Green, Ohio initially pursued a career outside football but returned to coaching after spending 10 years in the corporate world. He is in his first season as a defensive assistant for the Atlanta Falcons and his third season in the National Football League (NFL).
7. Patrick Kramer – Football Analyst
Patrick Kramer is a football analyst for the Atlanta Falcons. He joined the team n February 22, 2021. Kramer comes to Atlanta having most as of late filled in as a senior offensive expert and partner quarterbacks mentor at Notre Dame for three seasons (2018-20). In his job, Kramer was answerable for week-by-week adversary breakdowns and control of the guarded scout group, among others.
