Leonard Cornelius Floyd is an American football outside linebacker for the Los Angeles Rams of the National Football League. He played college football at Georgia and was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft.

Born on September 8, 1992 (age 29 years), in Eastman, Georgia, in the United States of America Leonard began his education at the  Dodge County High School after which he proceeded to the Hargrave Military Academy.

Leonard further attended college at the University of Georgia where he played college football. His parents are  Leonard Floyd and  Chrishonda Floyd.

Floyd received an invitation to the NFL combine as a top prospect in the upcoming 2016 NFL Draft. He attended the combine and performed the majority of combine drills before injuring his hamstring while running the 40-yard dash
