Rob Havenstein was born on May 13, 1992, and currently plays offensive lineman for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams. He was selected in the second round of the 2015 NFL Draft by the Rams. He attended the University of Wisconsin and played football.
On October 21, 2009, Havenstein committed to the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Penn State, Maryland, Virginia, Wake Forest, and West Virginia were all among his offers.
From 2010 until 2014, Havenstein was a right tackle on Wisconsin’s offensive line. Havenstein appeared in 54 games and started 42 of them throughout his five-year career. In 2010, Havenstein was a redshirt freshman.
In 2011, he appeared in 12 games and started every game for the next three years. In 2013, he was named to the media’s second-team All-Big Ten team.
At the conclusion of the 2014 season, the AFCA selected him consensus first-team All-Big Ten and first-team All-American. He was the lone Badgers player invited to compete in the 2015 Senior Bowl at the conclusion of his fifth year.
