Who Is Coach Donald D’Alesio?
As a defensive coach, Donald D’Alesio joined his debut season with Kansas City in 2021. After five seasons as a component of the Youngstown State football training staff as well as the 2020 season as a defensive analyst at Louisiana State University, D’Alesio agrees to join the Chiefs staff.
D’Alesio served as defensive coordinator, defensive line coach, as well as defensive quality control coach for the Penguins while at Youngstown State. As the Penguins’ defensive coordinator in 2019, D’Alesio oversaw a squad that finished seventh in the FCS in pass defense, tenth in sacks, and 24th in overall defense.

Donald D’Alesio, a tight end from Youngstown, Ohio, played at YSU from 2010 to 2014, accumulating 274 tackles while starting 44 games and appearing in 48 others.
