Joe Cullen is a defensive line coach for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs.

Joe Cullen Biography

Joe Cullen was born on December 15, 1967, in Quincy, Massachusetts, and is the defensive line coach for the National Football League’s Kansas City Chiefs (NFL).

He formerly worked for the Baltimore Ravens, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, and Detroit Lions as a defensive line coach.

Cullen was a four-year starter at nose guard for the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where he appeared in 45 consecutive games as a member of the team.

He was named to the All-Yankee Conference team three times, and he was named the Minutemen’s team MVP for the 1989 season.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in sports management from the University of Massachusetts in 1990. He worked as a graduate assistant at the university for a year before moving on to become a position coach.

Cullen was fired from the University of Mississippi shortly after being hired after being accused of drunk and disorderly behavior in a nearby Subway.

When Cullen was Detroit Lions defensive line coach in 2006, he was arrested for DUI.
