Biography
Troy McHenry Walters is an American football coach and former player who presently coaches the Cincinnati Bengals’ wideouts in the National Football League. Troy Walters was born in Bloomington, Indiana, in the United States on December 15, 1976.
Troy Walters is 46 years old and stands 1.73 meters tall with a weight of 78 kilograms. Walters spent eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) as a wide receiver and punt returner.
Walters was a consensus All-American wide receiver at Stanford University and was widely regarded as the best college wide receiver in the country.
The Minnesota Vikings selected him in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and he previously played for the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions.
He began his professional career with the Minnesota Vikings, who selected him in the fifth round (165th overall) of the NFL Draft in 2000. He was a member of the Vikings from 2000 to 2001.
From 2002 to 2005, he was a member of the Indianapolis Colts, the Arizona Cardinals in 2006, and the Detroit Lions in 2007. (2007).
Walters began his coaching career at Indiana State, Texas A&M, North Carolina State, Nebraska University, and the University of Colorado Boulder.
Walters joined Scott Frost’s staff at UCF in 2016 as offensive coordinator and wide receivers coach then was hired as the Cincinnati Bengals’ assistant wide receivers coach on February 10, 2020.
