Demarcus Stanley Robinson (born September 21, 1994) is an NFL wide receiver for the Kansas City Chiefs. He played college football at UF.
Robinson attended Florida from 2013–15. In 2013, he has five receptions for 23 yards in seven games as a freshman. Robinson was suspended twice during his rookie season for marijuana use. In 2014, he started 11 of 12 games.
He was suspended for their season-opening game against Idaho due to weather. Robinson has 53 receptions for 810 yards and 7 touchdowns. In 2015, he led the Gators with 48 receptions, 522 receiving yards, and two touchdowns in 13 games (9 starts).
On November 28, 2015, Robinson was suspended 75 minutes before Florida State’s 27–2 loss. The NCAA and team rules were broken. Robinson was suspended for meeting with a marketing representative, his fourth in three years.
To join the 2016 NFL Draft, Robinson and Taylor opted out of their senior year on December 21, 2015. “I honestly don’t get it,” McElwain said of the early exits. Most experts considered both players’ early entries as gambles.
