James Winchester is an American football long snapper for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League. He played college football at the University of Oklahoma.
Born on August 6, 1989 (age 32 years) in Washington, Oklahoma, United States James grew up with his parents Michael Winchester and Pam Roberts but unfortunately, his father got shot at Will Rogers World Airport on November 15, 2016.
James has a few siblings by the name of Emily Winchester, Carolyn Winchester Baker, Rebecca Winchester with whom he grew up in Washington, Oklahoma with.
Winchester started his professional career after he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles as an undrafted free agent on August 11, 2013. He was released by the team on August 25 during the Eagles first round of roster cutdowns.
On March 13, 2015, James was signed by the Kansas City Chiefs and again on January 23, 2017, Winchester signed a five-year, $4.45 million contract extension with the Chiefs.
He was said to have again signed a contract extension with the Chiefs through the 2023 season on November 23, 2021.
