Taylor’s brother, Press, held down the quarterback position at Marshall University and currently, is a senior offensive assistant for the Indianapolis Colts.

Taylor is married to Sarah and together, they have four children. His wife, Sarah Taylor coincidentally, happens to be the daughter of Mike Sherman; former Green Bay Packers and Texas A&M head coach.
