Guaranteed Rate Field is a baseball complex on Chicago’s South Side. The ballpark, which is owned by the state of Illinois through the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, serves as the home of Major League Baseball’s Chicago White Sox. The facility debuted in 1991, following the White Sox’s 81-year tenure at the historic Comiskey Park.

It debuted as Comiskey Park but was renamed U.S. Cellular Field in 2003 when U.S. Cellular acquired the naming rights for $68 million over a 20-year period. [8] The current name was revealed on October 31, 2016, following the purchase of the ballpark’s naming rights by Guaranteed Rate, a private home mortgage firm based in Chicago, in a 13-year arrangement.
