The Atlanta Braves have won 4 NA Pennant titles, in 1872, 1873, 1874, and 1875. Since then, they have not won any NA pennant again.

The Atlanta Braves are an American baseball team based in Atlanta. The Braves play in the NL East division of Major League Baseball (MLB). Atlanta–Fulton County Stadium from 1966 to 1996, then Turner Field from 1997 to 2016. Truist Park (formerly SunTrust Park) in Cumberland, Georgia, is their home stadium since 2017. The Braves play spring training games at CoolToday Park in North Port, Florida.

The name “Braves” comes from a Native American warrior term. From the 1970s until 2007, the Bravos’ games were broadcast nationally on TBS, earning them the nickname “America’s Team.”

The National League’s remaining charter teams are the Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs. 1871: The Boston Red Stockings (not to be confused with the American League’s Boston Red Sox). It is “America’s longest continuously functioning professional sports franchise.” The Boston Braves were the team’s name for most of the first part of the twentieth century. The team relocated to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in 1953, and subsequently to Atlanta in 1966.

From 1991 until 2005, the Braves had one of the strongest pitching rotations in baseball, winning 14 straight division titles (excluding the strike-shortened 1994 season, when there were no division champions). Among the pitchers were Greg Maddux, John Smoltz, and Tom Glavine. Steve Avery was a major member of the rotation in 1991–1993.

The Braves won the NL West division from 1991 to 1993 and the NL East division from 1995 through 2005. In 2010, they were the National League Wild Card. The Braves won the World Series in 1995 against the Cleveland Indians, their fifth appearance in the decade. Since joining the National League in 1876, the Atlanta Braves have won 21 division titles, 18 National League pennants, and four World Series titles (in 1914, 1957, 1995, and 2021).
