Lucas Browne is a professional boxer from Australia who has also competed in mixed martial arts and kickboxing in the past. Browne was born on April 14, 1979.

When he knocked out Ruslan Chagaev in 2016, he became the heavyweight champion of the WBA Regular division. Between the years 2012 and 2015, he was the heavyweight champion of both Australia and the Commonwealth in boxing.

Browne entered the workforce for the first time on March 20, 2009, when he was 30 years old. His first fight ended in the fourth round with a knockout victory for him.

Browne defeated Colin Wilson through knockout in the third round on February 17, 2012, which allowed him to claim the title of Australian heavyweight champion.

On April 28, 2013, he won a unanimous decision after twelve rounds to defeat future Hall of Famer and three-weight class world champion, James Toney.

The scores were 117–111, 119–109, and 120–108. The fight took place on April 28, 2013. In another three months, he knocked out the former heavyweight champion of the NABF, Travis Walker, in seven rounds.

In the first round, Walker knocked Browne out. Walker’s corner stopped the fight before round 8 could begin, despite the fact that it seemed as though Walker had decisively won the previous round.

Browne defeated Richard Towers, a former heavyweight champion of the European Union, via technical knockout in the fifth round in November of 2013.

The bout served as an elimination bout for the Commonwealth heavyweight championship, which was held at the time by David Price.
