Meet Neil Leibman

In addition to being a co-owner of the Texas Rangers, Neil Leibman serves as its president and chief operations officer as well. A member of the Texas Rangers Executive Committee and Board of Directors, he also serves on the Owners and Compensation Committees of Texas Rangers Baseball LLC.

He is also a member of the Texas Rangers Executive Committee and Board of Directors. A former CEO of Boise Baseball LLC, a Single-A Minor League Chicago Cub affiliate, and a co-managing partner of the Mobile Bay Bears Baseball LLC, a Double-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks, he has extensive experience in the baseball industry.

He also serves on the Minor League Baseball’s diversity and international committees. In the world of esports, he is the co-owner and a member of the board of directors of IGC gaming esports.

Furthermore, he is an investor in the National Women’s Hockey League as well as a co-investor in the Dallas Rugby Team. Besides his involvement in athletics, Leibman serves as the CEO of Summer Energy, a publicly listed retail energy firm headquartered in Texas.

However, Mr. Leibman and his family of three live in Houston. A graduate of Emory University and the State University of New York School of Law and Business, he earned a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s degree in business administration from the State University of New York at Albany.
