1. Mo Lewis

One of the greatest linebackers in NFL history, Lewis was a three-time Pro Bowler and an All-Pro in 1998. There are only two other linebackers in franchise history with more sacks than him; he has 52.5.

During his career, Lewis has 26 fumble recoveries, the most by a linebacker in the team’s history, and the second-most by a linebacker. Both he and Pace have three postseason sacks to their names, which is the most in team history.

2. Kyle Clifton

Clifton accumulated 1,484 tackles in his professional career, which ranks him 10th in the league since 1987 in total tackles. In 1985, Kyle Clifton had 160 solo tackles, 174 in 1986, and 162 in 1988, making him the NFL’s all-time leading tackler. In addition, in 1984, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991, he was among the NFL’s top ten solo tackles.

3. Larry Grantham

Grantham has appeared in 175 games for the team, which ranks him third among all linebackers. Grantham, an AFL Hall of Famer, was a five-time All-Pro and a five-time Pro Bowler.

As a linebacker, he ranks third in franchise history with 24 interceptions. Additionally, Grantham is one of only seven Jets players to return an interception and recover the ball for a touchdown at the same time.

4. Marvin Jones

Jones was drafted by the New York Jets in the first round of the 1993 NFL Draft, the fourth overall choice. He played for the Jets from 1993 to 2003. First-team All-Pro Jones was nicknamed “Shade Tree” by his teammates because of his record-setting 135 tackles in 2000.

He was a starter in 129 of the 142 regular season games he appeared in, making 1,021 tackles, nine sacks, five interceptions for 42 yards, 31 pass deflections, ten forced fumbles, and eight fumble recoveries in eleven seasons.
