The Washington Football Team is a professional American football team based in the Washington metropolitan area. Formerly known as the Washington Redskins, the team competes in the National Football League as a member club of the league’s National Football Conference East division.

The team is been headed by Ron Rivera who took over the position of coach in 2020 after battling with an illness.

The team is also said to have its president been  Jason Wright who runs the affairs of the team. The team also has won many championships since it was founded including the NFL championships: 1992, 1988, 1983
