What Teams Has Jon Embree Coached So Far?
Jon Embree since his coaching college career at colorado in 1991 has coached over 4 NFL teams with the Dolphins being the current.
He was Colorado’s head coach for a while. The Washington Redskins hired him after he served as their tight ends coach in the NFL. Embree previously coached for three seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, three with UCLA, one with the Cleveland Browns, and ten with Colorado.
When Dan Hawkins stepped down as Buffaloes head coach on December 6, 2010, Embree was named in his place as the team’s new leader. His appointment as head coach of the football team marks only the third time a CU alumnus has done so in nearly half a century.
On November 25, 2012, he was fired as head coach of the Colorado Buffaloes after a record of 4-21, including 1-11 in his final season, which was the worst year in the history of the team.
