Kevin William O’Connell is a former National Football League player who is now a coach in the same league. He was born on May 29 1985 in Knoxville Tennessee. He had his High school education at La Costa Canyon (Carlsbad, California) and his college education at San Diego State.

While at San Diego State, he played as quarterback for their football team from where he was drafted into the National Football League. His first team in the NFL was New England Patriots. He then went on to play for Detroit Lions, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, and the San Diego Chargers. He finally retired from playing in 2012.

After his retirement, he took a 2-year break before getting into coaching in the National Football League in 2015. He has since been coaching to date.
