The Chicago White Sox Coaching Staff is made up of manager Tony La Russa and coach Miguel Cairo, Menechino, Howie Clark, Ethan Katz, Daryl Boston, Curt Hasler, Shelley Duncan, Jerry Narron, and Miguel Gonzalez.
FrankLa Russa brought a 50 percent turnover to the table. Cairo, 37-year-old pitching coach Ethan Katz, analytics coordinator Shelley Duncan, and assistant hitting coach Howie Clark have all joined the team as new members of the coaching staff.
Hitting coach Frank Menechino, assistant pitching coach Curt Hasler, first-base and outfielders coach Daryl Boston, and McEwing are all returning for another season.
The White Sox stated Friday that Allen Thomas, the team’s director of strength and conditioning, will not be given a new contract while the team “reimagines” that department.
The White Sox recruited him in 1998 after he had played in two minor league seasons for them in 1996 and 1997. He has worked as the team’s director of strength and conditioning for 18 of those many seasons.
When it comes to La Russa and his staff, he stated that he will return for the 2022 season in an interview with the Chicago Tribune’s Paul Sullivan.
