The Cleveland Guardians are an American professional baseball team based in Cleveland. The Guardians compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League Central division. Since 1994, they have played at Progressive Field.

The team is said to be managed by Terry Francona with its mascot being a slider. The team is said to have some quality players with whom they have won the world series championship in two seasons; 1948, 1920.

The Cleveland Guardians were said to have been known formerly as the Cleveland Naps.
