Marvin Darnell Harrison born on August 25, 1972, is a retired American professional football wide receiver who played in the National Football League for 13 seasons (NFL). He was picked 19th overall in the first round of the 1996 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts after playing college football for the Syracuse Orange.

Harrison is widely regarded as one of the finest and most productive wide receivers in NFL history, having spent his entire career with the Colts, much of it with quarterback Peyton Manning. With the team, he won a Super Bowl ring in Super Bowl XLI against the Chicago Bears.

The Indianapolis Colts selected Harrison with the 19th overall pick in the 1996 NFL Draft, which came as part of a trade that sent Jeff George to the Atlanta Falcons. Harrison would go on to be one of the most effective receivers in the rookie class.
