Who is coach Eric Henderson?
Eric Charles Henderson, the Los Angeles Rams defensive line coach, and run game coordinator, is a former American football coach who now works for the National Football League’s Los Angeles Rams.
Eric Henderson Biography
Eric Henderson was born on January 8, 1983, in New Orleans, Louisiana. He was once an assistant coach with the Los Angeles Chargers football team.
During his undergraduate career, Henderson was a defensive end for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. He was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Cincinnati Bengals in 2006 and played at the top level for six seasons.
Henderson set a team career record with 59.5 tackles for loss (TFL) as a member of the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and he is presently rated fourth all-time in sacks for the school (25).
In his sophomore season, he started all 13 games for the team and was named first-team All-Atlantic Coast Conference after earning 11 sacks and 24 total tackles for loss. As a junior and senior, he was nominated to the Atlantic Coast Conference’s second team for the second time in his career.
Even though he missed four games due to an ankle injury in his senior year, he still led the team with six sacks and caused four fumbles.
