Troy McHenry Walters is an American football coach and former player who currently serves as the wide receivers coach for the National Football League’s Cincinnati Bengals (NFL).

In College Station, Texas, he attended A&M Consolidated High School. After that, he attended Standford University for his collegiate degree.

He lettered in football, basketball, and track and field. Walters played for the Stanford Cardinals football team from 1996 to 1999 after obtaining an athletic scholarship to attend Stanford University.

Walters spent eight seasons in the National Football League (NFL) as a wide receiver and punt returner. Walters was a consensus All-American wide receiver at Stanford University and was widely regarded as the best college wide receiver in the country.

He was drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in the fifth round of the 2000 NFL Draft, and he later played for the Indianapolis Colts, Arizona Cardinals, and Detroit Lions.

He began his professional career with the Minnesota Vikings, where he was drafted in the fifth round (165th overall) of the 2000 NFL Draft. From 2000 to 2001, he played with the Vikings.
