Postler-Slattery was the president and CEO of MyMichigan Health, a Midland-based four-hospital nonprofit integrated health system.

She was an advocate for Alma College and the community of mid-Michigan as a whole. In 2019, Postler-Slattery was elected to the Alma Board of Trustees.

She was president and CEO of Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, Wisconsin, prior to joining MyMichigan Health. In December 2021, the group adopted a new name during her reign.

She was also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives and a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

On Tuesday, March 8, Diane Postler-Slattery, a member of the Alma College Board of Trustees, and her husband, Donald Slattery, were killed in a private jet crash in Florida.

The couple’s Cessna plane, which took off from Michigan, stopped in McMinnville, Tennessee, before continuing on to Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport in Panama City, Florida, according to sources.

The jet carrying Midland-based MyMichigan Health’s president and CEO is believed to have vanished from radar approximately two miles from the airport.

The investigation has been handed over to the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
