Meet Benson and Augusta
Ogbonnia Okoronkwo’s parents Benson and Augusta Okornkwo are both Nigerians who moved to the United States of America to live their life.
To his Nigerian-born parents, Obo’s future was in academics. Benson moved to America to pursue his pharmacy degree and Augusta was a nurse.
Augusta and Benson had different ideas for their firstborn son. He wouldn’t be a linebacker. He wouldn’t go anywhere near a football field. Instead, he would be a doctor, a lawyer, or a pharmacist but Ogbonnia chose to play football.
