Yoon Seok-youl is a South Korean politician, former public prosecutor, and lawyer who is the president-elect of South Korea.
Yoon served as Prosecutor General of South Korea between 2019 and 2021 under President Moon Jae-in.
Yoon went to Choongam High School and pursued on regulation at Seoul National University.
He is an associate of Moon Kang-bae, a legal advisor who depicted Yoon as a “social butterfly and dependable” individual.
Not long after the Gwangju Uprising, Yoon and his partners held a false preliminary, where he went about as an examiner, requesting capital punishment for Chun Doo-hwan, the President of the Republic.
Following the fake preliminary, Yoon ran away to Gangwon Province. Yoon was excluded in 1982 from public assistance because of anisometropia.
Yoon later added that he couldn’t acquire a driving permit in light of the condition. Yoon passed the initial segment of the final law test in Year 4 of college yet bombed the second.
He continued to fizzle for the following nine years. The purposes behind his bombed endeavors are not satisfactory, yet the primary driver is broadly respected to be the false preliminary he held against Chun Doo-hwan.

Yoon Seok-youl father, Yoon Ki-Joong, is a retired educator who graduated from Yonsei University and Hitotsubashi University who later established the Korean Statistical Society and is now a full member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Korea.
His mother was born in Gangneung and was a lecturer at Ewha Woman’s University before leaving the position after getting married.
